Five on Friday #1

Yay, it's Friday! 

1.  I'm still 100% in love with the canvas art project  I did of my home state.  It makes me smile every time I see it!  You can find it here.  

2.  It was Steven and I's one year anniversary on Wednesday!  He brought home some flowers and little presents and I brought home some prepackaged shots. :P You can tell which of us is the romantic one...

3.  I am thoroughly obsessed with the show Revenge, lately.  I just started watching it kind of recently but I am flying through Season 1 and 2 right now.  It's such a soap opera kind of show, but I'm addicted and I love it.  Emily VanCamp is freaking gorgeous.  I mean, honestly... check her out for a minute.

4.  I discovered my new favorite drink.  Background story time... I've never been able to find an easy mixed drink that I like.  I'm sort of a really picky drinker.  I don't like any kind of beer.  I mainly just drink Angry Orchard or Red's apple ale.  When I go to a bar, I've always had someone else order my drink for me because I just... don't know what I'd like.  This week though, I made my own sour mix from the lemons in our backyard and mixed it with some Amaretto, and... bam, new favorite mixed drink.  Easy peasy.  

5.  I made Steven watch 500 Days of Summer and he liked it.  He just hasn't admitted it yet.  He's just jealous because Joseph Gordon-Levitt is kind of my guy.  Here's a picture, extra large for your enjoyment.
