Weekly Wishes #10

Last Week's Wishes
1.  Keep trucking on the novel: I'm still hacking away at it, and I've finished the first chapter, which I suppose is a decent start.  There's still a lot of planning to be done, but summer break starts in 2 months, so hopefully I'll have more time for all of that then.
2.  Do some soul searching:  I guess this is an ongoing thing I'm going to have to work on.  I'm really struggling enjoying my job right now, and I need to reflect on why that is and what I can do to change it.

This Week's Wishes
1.  Get started on end-of-the-year projects:  I need to get going on a few projects coming up.  I'm going to be making a scrapbook to show what I've learned this year to present after school one day later this month.  I also need to finish a few other school-related things.  I'm not going to make any other goals this week, so I don't stress out too much about other things.  Luckily, I've scheduled a few interesting posts this week, so I won't have to worry about the blog too much.

March Wishes
1.  Write, write write: It's occurred to me that I've been doing A LOT of writing lately, through blogging, posting, my class, and the book.  So I think I can safely say I've succeeded in this.
2.  Practice photography: I've been practicing for various blog posts and such, so I think I've done pretty well on this one, too.  I'm hoping to get a new lens pretty soon, too, so I'll have to practice with it as well!

April Wishes
1.  Stay organized:  I can tell from my wishes that I'm feeling the pressure of the end of the school year, so I guess I should add that I need to stay calm at the same time.  Everything will get done in due time and it will all work out, as long as I keep my calendar straight and don't put things off too long! :)
2.  30 day fitness challenge: I want to finish one of the 30 day fitness challenges (you can find them here).  Even though it's going to be a busy month, I still want to stay healthy and keep working out.

As always, I'll keep you updated on how I do this week.  By the way, weekly wishes is a link-up The Nectar Collective hosts each week where people write about their goals or challenges they want to achieve for the week.  Hence... weekly wishes!

  3. I love this link up idea! I usually avoid making to-do list because I get angry at myself if I don't finish them once they are committed to paper. I'm just going to stay on top of keeping a list and practicing a little patience with myself if I don't get it all done. Good luck with your list!

    My list is here:

  4. Ooh, definitely going to look into that fitness challenge! And I love that you are writing a novel. I bet the first chapter is one of the hardest to write!

  5. I love this idea! I think I'm going to start publishing mine. I tend to make my weekly list on sundays. Maybe if I publish them I'll do better at remembering them! :)
